At Daisy Jake Hairdressing we understand that life can present unexpected challenges, and sometimes plans don't unfold as anticipated. That’s why we love being flexible for you, so that if you need to change or cancel an appointment- you can! We greatly appreciate your support.

For your ease, we offer email confirmation of your appointment 1 week in advance and also a text message 2 days before.

Please note: it is an automated system and can only receive “YES” or “NO” responses, not personal messages. No-shows, and cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment may incur a 50% fee based on the scheduled service. 

We understand that delays happen, and we'll do our utmost to accommodate them. However, as we operate by appointment, arrivals more than 10 minutes late may impact other clients' bookings. In such cases, we might be unable to provide the service, and our cancellation policy would then apply.

In instances of numerous no-shows or late cancellations, clients may be required to pay a deposit for future appointments at Daisy Jake Hairdressing.

You may spot Ben gliding down the hills of Churton Park on his longboard. Besides his passion for hairstyling, Ben loves art, creating paintings, and is a skilled gamer who competes in social gaming tournaments. His diverse interests add an exciting edge to his already impressive self.

Fashion has become his newfound passion, inspiring his personal life and work. He blends the latest trends into his profession, allowing him to push boundaries in positive and creative ways. With Ben's playful approach and keen eye for fashion, you can trust that he'll use creativity and uniqueness in the salon, leaving you feeling confident and stylish. 

Sarah Parsons

Meet Sarah, our dynamic second-year apprentice who joins the team from Whitireia, where she embarked on her journey into the world of hairdressing. While she may be new to the craft, Sarah brings a wealth of experience from her previous career in midwifery.

This background has instilled in her a deep-seated commitment to excellence and a keen understanding of the importance of personalised care.

Driven by her passion for tailoring to individual needs, Sarah is no stranger to hard work and determination. Transitioning from midwifery to hairdressing, she seamlessly blends her innate creativity with her eagerness to learn, making her a standout in our salon. With an unwavering commitment to excellence and a fresh perspective, Sarah is poised to make waves in the world of hairdressing as she continues to refine her craft and enthusiastically embrace new challenges.

Addison Yee

Addison recently finished at Newlands College and has taken an exciting step forward in her career by joining Daisy Jake Hairdressing as an apprentice hairdresser. With passion for hair and beauty, she is thrilled to now focus on her love for the industry full-time.

During her school years, Addison balanced academics with her active involvement in sports like netball and volleyball, where she developed teamwork, resilience, and a strong competitive spirit. These qualities now serve her well as she takes on the challenges of learning and growing in the hairdressing profession.

Addison is enthusiastic about developing her technical skills and creativity, eager to transform her passion into expertise. As she embraces every opportunity to learn from the talented team at Daisy Jake, Addison is excited about the journey ahead. 

Miriam Bloomfield

A passionate hairstylist since the age of 15 Miriam is now a proud mother of four. She is excited to return to the salon after seven years as a stay-at-home mum. Her love for hair and staying up-to-date with the latest trends remains unwavering.

Crafting unique cards and exploring the world of watercolour paintings, Miriam loves trying new things. She loves to express care through giving and enjoys sharing her baked goods. Seeing the joy on someone's face when they receive a thoughtful treat warms her heart.

She recognises the value of creating a welcoming atmosphere where genuine connections flourish.
