OUR CANCELLATION POLICY
At Daisy Jake Hairdressing we understand that life can present unexpected challenges, and sometimes plans don't unfold as anticipated. That’s why we love being flexible for you, so that if you need to change or cancel an appointment- you can! We greatly appreciate your support.
For your ease, we offer email confirmation of your appointment 1 week in advance and also a text message 2 days before.
Please note: it is an automated system and can only receive “YES” or “NO” responses, not personal messages. No-shows, and cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment may incur a 50% fee based on the scheduled service.
We understand that delays happen, and we'll do our utmost to accommodate them. However, as we operate by appointment, arrivals more than 10 minutes late may impact other clients' bookings. In such cases, we might be unable to provide the service, and our cancellation policy would then apply.
In instances of numerous no-shows or late cancellations, clients may be required to pay a deposit for future appointments at Daisy Jake Hairdressing.

SALON DIRECTOR / STYLIST
Meet Kerri, the passionate owner of Daisy Jake Hairdressing, with an impressive 29 years of experience in the industry. Having excelled as a sought-after stylist and a skilled salon manager, Kerri's expertise is unmatched. For over sixteen years, she led a large team at an award-winning inner-city salon and later fulfilled her long-held dream of creating an upmarket boutique salon.
At Daisy Jake, Kerri brings contagious energy, knowledge, and enthusiasm. She strives to inspire her team, fostering a collaborative environment while creating lasting connections with every client.
Kerri loves taking her clients on a journey, creating hairstyles that perfectly complement their individuality and lifestyle. You'll often hear her sharing invaluable tips and techniques for daily hair management, ensuring you look great leaving the salon and maintaining your style effortlessly.
While professionalism is paramount, Kerri infuses the salon with a playful atmosphere. Her warm laughter serves as the backdrop to the lively ambience of Daisy Jake, making every visit a joyful experience.

Ben Lamb
Meet Ben, a stylist at Daisy Jake who constantly seeks to broaden his expertise in hairdressing.
You may spot Ben gliding down the hills of Churton Park on his longboard. Besides his passion for hairstyling, Ben loves art, creating paintings, and is a skilled gamer who competes in social gaming tournaments. His diverse interests add an exciting edge to his already impressive self.
Fashion has become his newfound passion, inspiring his personal life and work. He blends the latest trends into his profession, allowing him to push boundaries in positive and creative ways. With Ben's playful approach and keen eye for fashion, you can trust that he'll use creativity and uniqueness in the salon, leaving you feeling confident and stylish.
SHANIAH Kelly
One of our incredible stylists Shaniah is a dedicated team player and a genuine hard worker, always going the extra mile to ensure things run smoothly. Her bright and bubbly energy is contagious.
When she's not creating stunning hairstyles, she indulges in her love for Highland dancing, showcasing her unique talents in the competition arena. Shaniah has a special knack for crafting eye-catching eyeshadow designs that complement her outfits.
She brings an infectious playfulness to our team, always keeping us on our toes. There's never a dull moment with her as she finds countless reasons to dress up and add a touch of excitement to our workdays. You can count on Shaniah to bring plenty of fun and laughter, both behind the scenes and in front of the camera.
EMMA Carlson
We introduce you to our wonderful Emma, a rising star and colourist. Emma's remarkable talent for colour is unique, and her keen eye for detail makes her an exceptional artist.
Beyond hairstyling, Emma has a passion for art and drawing, which adds an exciting edge to her work as a budding hairdresser. Her artistic flair shines through in every creation, allowing her to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the table.

Miriam Bloomfield
A passionate hairstylist since the age of 15 Miriam is now a proud mother of four. She is excited to return to the salon after seven years as a stay-at-home mum. Her love for hair and staying up-to-date with the latest trends remains unwavering.
Crafting unique cards and exploring the world of watercolour paintings, Miriam loves trying new things. She loves to express care through giving and enjoys sharing her baked goods. Seeing the joy on someone's face when they receive a thoughtful treat warms her heart.
She recognises the value of creating a welcoming atmosphere where genuine connections flourish.
Aurora Riley
CURRENTLY ON MATERNITY LEAVE.
In her first year of study at Whitireia, Aurora takes a Bachelor of Maori Nursing course and joins the team in a salon support role to help keep the salon running smoothly.
Aurora loves jewellery and shoes! Her love for the jewellery comes from her Nana. She loves bling.
Her dog Boots keeps her busy when not at Daisy Jake. Boots and Aurora love playing tug-of-war and going for daily walks. He is the perfect addition to the family.
Sarah Parsons
Meet Sarah, our dynamic second-year apprentice who joins the team from Whitireia, where she embarked on her journey into the world of hairdressing. While she may be new to the craft, Sarah brings a wealth of experience from her previous career in midwifery.
This background has instilled in her a deep-seated commitment to excellence and a keen understanding of the importance of personalised care.
Driven by her passion for tailoring to individual needs, Sarah is no stranger to hard work and determination. Transitioning from midwifery to hairdressing, she seamlessly blends her innate creativity with her eagerness to learn, making her a standout in our salon. With an unwavering commitment to excellence and a fresh perspective, Sarah is poised to make waves in the world of hairdressing as she continues to refine her craft and enthusiastically embrace new challenges.
Angela Enoka
Introducing Angela, a seasoned and passionate hairstylist with a remarkable 40-year journey in the industry. Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of refining her skills in both urban and regional salons, accumulating a wealth of experience.
Angela’s passion lies in creating stunning looks for special occasions and bridal hair. These moments are profoundly significant in a person's life, and her aim is to amplify each individual's natural beauty, ensuring they feel confident and radiant on their special day.
